SYNOPSIS
I left the island I grew up on. It wasn’t a departure, it was an escape. On that island, on the road to my village there was a cliff that led to the sea where a vortex would form. The same cliff my father fell off looking for medicinal herbs and disappeared into the water.
I now travel to another island that isn’t mine. It is the place where an encounter with a man with a violent past will take place. This man will attempt to destroy this film and I will run away with it, to keep it alive.
An intimate exploration on violence, the other as a mirror to go deep within one self.
